Data Pool vs Campaigns
These pages are in the same lead universe, having distinct purposes while still wondering why they were created and what to do with their limited life-spans on the internet. Yet, they do different jobs. Use the distinction below when someone asks where to import, where to inspect, or where to export.

Campaigns is where leads get imported for dialing.Data Pool is where old or cold leads are exported.
Use Campaigns when you need to
- Create or edit a campaign.
- Import a CSV file of leads for dialing.
- Set retry rules, buyer routing, or team allocation.
- Assign campaign team members and distribute leads.
Use Data Pool when you need to
- View our old and cold leads.
- Filter by campaign, status, area code, or blocked-number view.
- Export a filtered CSV.
Common confusion
"I need to upload a CSV for my team when dialing."
Go to Campaigns and use the import field on the campaign form.
"I need to confirm the leads came in."
Open the dialer and attempt selecting the campaign.
Check the lead count on /campaigns.
"I need to export a filtered CSV."
Use Data Pool because that page is designed for filtering and export.
